Volunteers will be needed in the following ways:
Mentor – Our definition of a mentor is a person who is living out who they are called to be. You don’t have to be anything other than who you are. We need students to spend time with positive role models who can speak truth and encouragement into them. This is done by simply spending time doing things you both enjoy, taking an interest in them and being present for important events. Training provided. (Minimum 4 hours a month).
Group Tutor: Can be teenagers or adults… Assist head tutors and teachers in implementing educational and recreational activities. We provide the curriculum and ideas. This is perfect for someone who does well in groups and can manage multiple students. This person must be able to have fun! (4 afternoons a month).
Project Chaperone: Serve alongside of students in their community for a small service project. (1 time a month)
Fundraiser/Grant Writers: If you have any experience in fundraising and/or grant writing, we always need help researching different funding opportunities and writing proposals.
